Project description
Total renovation of the “Eidgenoss” listed property at Bahnhofstrasse 13/17, a landmark in Zurich’s city centre and a familiar name to every real estate professional. Renovation of the complete outer shell including the creation of a new roof terrace and modification of the roof turret. A new design was implemented for the general areas, the bathrooms, entrances and staircases, partly to ensure the preservation of the listed property. In addition, a completely new building services system was installed and all rooms are now ventilated, cooled and heated according to modern standards. The difficulty throughout the refurbishment was that all retail spaces such as Rolex, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Osswald had to remain open, and no disruption to business was permitted.
